According to a new study published by the University of California at Irvine, drinking alcohol and coffee in moderation will give you a better chance of living longer. The study found that people who drank 1-2 alcoholic beverages per day had an 18% higher chance of living to 90 yrs of age than did those that abstained. Coffee drinkers had a similar boost in longevity, those that had one to two cups a day had a 10% higher chance of reaching the age of ninety than their non-coffee drinking counterparts.
