After two months of radio silence, Colorado wolves attacked and injured an adult pregnant heifer. The heifer's injuries were so bad that euthanizing the animal was the most humane solution. Colorado wildlife experts are growing concerned that attacking cattle is becoming learned behavior in wild wolf packs. Some farmers are implementing Burros in their herds in order to chase away the predators but the effectiveness is still to early to tell. For more information on this story read here.
