After the areas of concern over the weekend were hit with 1 to 2 feet of snow, there was the hope that the Cameron Peak fire would slow. It seems that even though the snowfall gave the firefighters precious time to contain and set up new defenses, the fire still rages... "This thing is still alive and we have to pay attention to it,'' Joe Shellhammer, captain with the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.
