The annual Loveland 4th of July Firework Display's status was up in the air this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to the partnership between the cities of Loveland and Fort Collins along with Larimer County, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, and the Larimer County Ranch Events Complex, the annual event will go on. It is a tradition for the celebration to take place at North Lake, but this year however it will be relocated to The Ranch Events Complex. The reasoning behind this relocation was detailed in a press release from the City Of Loveland,"This temporary location for 2020 has vast open areas, parking, security and gated access to help limit attendance and discourage crowds for the drive-in fireworks show. No food or vendors will be onsite, and viewers are asked to remain in or adjacent to their vehicles, except to visit restroom facilities that will be provided."
