NHL To Continue Playoffs: Colorado Avalanche 2nd In The West

Finally, sports are starting to come back! The Commissioner of the NHL, Gary Bettman, announced that the 2019-2020 regular season will not go on, but there will 24 teams to play in a tournament for the infamous Stanley Cup. The NHL has a "Return To Play Plan" that breaks down into 4 phases which will hopefully start in early June. The Colorado Avalanche ended the 2019-2020 season 42-20-7 record which was the 2nd best in the western conference. In the final 2 months of the regular season, there wasn't any other team in the league who earned more points than the Avs, Hopefully that success will be with the team later in the summer when the NHL plans to be back!
