Heading northbound or southbound on I-25 north of Fort Collins will be problematic this weekend as construction will shut-down both directions.
According to the Coloradoan, the Vine Drive bridge will be torn down starting Saturday, weather permitting. This will affect I-25 between Mulberry (Highway 14) and Mountain Vista Drive from 6pm Saturday to 10am Sunday.
If you're heading north, you'll have to take the Mulberry exit (269A), then take the frontage road until you get to Mountain Vista and then back on to I-25. If you're heading southbound, you'll be taking the Mountain Vista exit (271) and taking the frontage road until you get to Mulberry, and then back onto I-25 from there.
As for the weather, forecasters are predicting a dry weekend.....for now. It is Colorado, after all.
According to the Coloradoan, this is a 7 month project.
And a heads-up, Colorado Highway 402 will be getting its makeover beginning June 24th. It will be shut-down for 120 days.
