A Mild Earthquake Hit Colorado This Morning

It seems Colorado got a little bit of everything this holiday weekend: rain, wind, hail, tornado's, snow, and earthquakes.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Eagle County Colorado was shook with a 2.7 magnitude earthquake early this morning that was centered about 3.1 miles east and south of Gypsum. The USGS data says that this was a mild earthquake and if any shaking was felt, it would have been barely noticeable. As a result, no damage is expected.
