Hold Out Till May, Eagles Country!

Hold out till May Eagles Country

It’s not easy being an avid Colorado Eagles Hockey fan. Especially when their season is cut short. It’s not easy to imagine all seven thousand two hundred seats lay vacant at the Budweiser Events Center. The arena lays dormant waiting for the return of the Colorado Eagles eagerly to be back on the ice. I ask that the Northern Colorado community be patient, as we all have to do our part during these difficult times.

It’s not easy not knowing what’s next for the Colorado Eagles. The Colorado Eagles have been an amazing pastime for the Northern Colorado community since 2003. It’s difficult driving by the Budweiser Events Center as it lays completely empty. In times like this, it’s easy to forget how much influence the Colorado Eagles mean to the community. We thankfully all have social media to keep us up to date on what’s happening next and watch previous highlights.

You will notice something also distinctly different from the suspension of the season. The airwaves of 92.9 The Bear aren’t broadcasting the games. You won’t hear the roars of the fans at home or away games on the radio currently. It’s a quiet time for fans, as they don’t hear much rumbling of what’s going on. All we can do is hold out till May and await further notice about the American Hockey League.
